8/24 zones
Description
The extremely compact M-4U controllers are presented in multizone cabinets from 8 to 24 zones depending on the dimensions and the power card placement. A new, compact 8-zone version that uses the new 15A power card is now available (M4U-S.08). The LCD display and an integrated keyboard make the M-4U very user friendly.
The cabinet offers all top-of-the-line functions:
- Permanent self tuning control
- Adjustable Soft start
- 2 adjustable set point values
- Display of % power and load current per zone (Amps)
- Alarm on upper and lower temperature, thermocouple and heating elements
But also other advanced functions:
- Programmable zone display

- Mold diagnosis (Option MoldScan)

The MoldScan option analyzes the parameters of the electric heating elements (installed power, temperature increase, resistance value of the heating element, etc.) It shows in real-time a diagram about the temperature changes and set point for a selected zone.
Applications
The M-4U controllers has been designed for applications with an average number of 8 to 24 zones. The heating power of the zones is defined in groups of 8 (Example : 16 zones 16A or 24 zones 5A, or 8 zones 16 A and 8 zones 5A) thus allowing optimal adaptation to the mold. The M-4U series controller is particularly dedicated to applications with a high number of zones to be controlled, and for monitoring temperature conditions (Automotive, Technical mouding industry, or sensitive / technical raw materials). The new compact 15A card can be used for up to 24 zones on packaging, cosmetics or medical applications.
