Description
The extremely compact M-20U M-series controllers, are offered in multizone cabinets from 32 to 120 zones according to the dimensions and the disposition of the power cards. Our system is very user-friendly, with a blue LCD screen and a keyboard which are both embedded into the new tiltable control panel. These cabinets are generally controlled either by a laptop or by a touch screen PC, running the Win’SISE software.
The M-20U cabinet has out of standard all top-of-the-range functions:
- Permanent self tuning control
- Adjustable Soft start
- 2 adjustable setpoint values
- Display of % power and load current per zone (Amps)
- Alarm on upper and lower temperature, thermocouple and heating elements
But also other advanced functions:
- Programmable zone display
- Adjustable BOOST function
- 16-mold Memory for hot runner settings

- Automatic switch to manual mode,
- Mold diagnosis (Option MoldScan)

The MoldScan option analyzes the parameters of the electric heating elements (installed power, temperature increase, resistance value of the heating element, etc.) It displays in real-time a diagram about the temperature changes and setpoint for a selected zone.
Applications
The M-20U controllers have been specifically designed for applications with a higher number of control zones within the mould. The heating power is defined by modules of 8 (48 zones 16A or 120 zones 5A, 16 zones 16 A and 64 zones 5A, or 96 zones with new compact 15A card), thus allowing an optimal adaptation to the mold.
The M-20U series controller is particularly aimed at applications with a large number of zones with high power (Automotive, Technical molds, …) or to applications for molds with high cavities in combination with the power control cards dedicated to the manifold (16A), and others dedicated to the tips (power control card 5A). Thanks to strong integration, it is possible to have a great number of zones in half the volume used in standard controllers. The new compact 15A card is even better suited for packaging, cosmetics and medical applications.
